Most computers have an analog microphone input. All you need is the right cord to connect a tape player to the audio input on your computer, and some recording software, such as the free Audacity.

I've linked to a tutorial.

if your computer has audio in and you have a tape player, you can use adapter cables (ex:R/L RCA to 1/8" stereo) to connect the audio out/headphones from the tape player to the audio in on the computer then record the incoming audio, save as MP3 then burn to CD.

if you don't have audio in, or don't want to mess w/it, try this: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=PLUSDECK2C&cpc=SCH
