Is it legal for a manufacturer to not have a functional part before 7 years of the part being produced? Meaning, say you ordered a TV a few years ago from Sony, Well, the knob broke, so you call Sony and ask them to send you a new knob and they say they don't make it anymore, but it's only been a year. Is this legal?

hey, we are doing a project at my school that we have to solve a problem. we decided to create an inexpensive remote control that uses radio frequency instead of I.r. we need to know how many people have a problem with objects getting in the way of the recievers for standard remote controls. if you could help us out that would be great. even if you could give me a website were i could post a free survey it would help a lot.

My Plasma Flat Screen HD TV gets hot. This is probably normal, right? My question is, my daughter likes watching TV when she goes to bed and if turned off, she wakes up. Is it ok for this TV to be left on for 4-8 hours straight?

I got a medical DVD with workbook that is compulsary for uni - it shows us how to do basic procedures like blood pressure or whatever.

All my other DVDs play in full colour normally but this one is playing black and white. the book says it should be colour coded for us to move between different topics.

so it shud be colour.
i dont know what to do its hard to examine things like temperature charts that are colour coded and understand what they are talking about if its black and white i cant see the colours

I have a samsung flip phone and my service provider is T-mobile. Yesterday i was trying to call my friend and when i dialed his number then pushed call it says call not allowed. I did that 4 times then called another friend the same thing happened. I turned off my cell phone and then back on and the problem went away i was able to use my phone. I have had problems with my samsung in the past i had to get a new one last month, but as far as the incident i explained to you what do you think could be the cause of that? I had full signal when it said call not allowed.

Besides a longer battery time i heard that with the additional voltage the flash will load faster? (making easy to take multiple indoor pictures fast. Is this true? are there other advantages? Because the biggest disadvantage i see is the added weight and also the need to buy more batteries.
