I bought a German TV 9 months ago, with a 3 year warrenty, it just developed a small problem but would need the back removing to sort out.
If I did this minor repair the warrenty would be invalid.
I called the manufactuerer .
" OK Sir no problem , we will collect and repair and return to you within 7 days"
The set was collected almost immediatly, very efficent, and its now on the way to Germany, I asked the pick up guy how much was this going to cost the manufacturer. UK to Germany 19kgs about £200 return!!!!
Where is the sense in that???
No I dont have to pay anything, the set cost me £500 9 months ago.

I would like to connect multiple RF outputs into my TV at once. I would like to receive my analog cable channels and connect an air antenna to the TV also to receive digital broadcasts.

I was thinking I could connect my analog cable RF output to a VCR, connect the VCR to the TV via the AV inputs, and have the air antenna to my TVs one RF input.

When I want cable channels, switch to "input 1" on the tv?

whats my best option?

thanks

I want to put movies on my psp. I have a few programs that can do it, but I'm looking for a program that can convert dvds or downloaded videos/movies to a small enough file size to fit at least about 3-5 dvd movies on a 1gig psp memory stick. The programs I have now will take a full dvd down to about 400-500megs which means I could only put about 2 movies on a 1gig memory stick.

I would like to get a cellphone, an enV from Verizon if you want to be specific. I think it would be perfect if I did, because my mom has two networks.. one on Cingular that has my dad, her, my grandma, my grandpa, and my other grandma in it. Her other one is on Verizon and it only has her other phone on it that she uses for business. That is why I think it would be perfect, because then she would have more than just one phone on it. She was also considering getting a new phone. She wants one with bluetooth, because it is easier to talk and drive with a bluetooth (obviously). What do you suggest I tell her to convince her/inform her of positive aspects of getting me a phone.

ALSO.. I want unlimited texting because why would you get a texting phone if you couldn't text.. However, she wants to be able to have lots of minutes because she is going to talk alot since it is a business phone. Please just let me in on some useful information now that you understand my situation..

Hello everyone. I had a question regarding Plasma TV's. I'm planning on buying one so I'm trying to budget myself. If I buy a Plasma TV and want that excellent picture quality, do I also have to buy some type of adapter to bring out that excellent quality? Or is it enough to just plug it in and have Directv installed with it? I ask because about 8 years ago when I bought a TV, someone at the store was telling me that I also had to purchase separately a HDTV adapter in order to bring out that superb picture quality. I was just wondering if televisions became more advanced. I would appreciate info from anyone who has knowledge on this subject. Thanks!

I have AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 that I am using to burn my DVD's. About half of them burn just fine...but the other ones either get pixilated throughout or they burn fine for a few chapters then "stick" and won't play several. I've tried burning at different speeds but it hasn't entirely alleviayed the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm trying to hook up my satellite receiver to the phone but the jack is on the other side of the room. I have tried going thru the attic but the wires aren't ran thru the attic (it's a two story house). I can't run it along the baseboards either because of the hardwood floors. Does anybody else have any ideas? Do they sell some sort of wireless adapter that I can plug in the wall and the receiver?

My current HDTV has two RF inputs: one for "off-the-air" antenna and the other for cable. Both inputs support either digital or analog signal and the TV has both ATSC and NTSC tuners. I'd like to upgrade to a new HDTV, but have to address the fact that, while it has both a digital and an analog tuner, it has only one RF input. I know I could hook up an A/B switch to manually choose between my rooftop antenna for HDTV and my analog cable feed, but that would be a hassle.

What would happen if I combined the two RF inputs into a common cable -- a reverse splitter if you will -- and fed it into the single RF? Would the TV be able to "uncombine" the signal and see both the OTA digital and analog cable signals separately?

Thanks.

im looking for a camera that has fantastic camera and is almost comparable to a good SLR. im looking for a stylish point and shoot that still has fantastic quality. i looked into the Sony T100 and placed an order, but had to cancel because the product was backordered and would take a month to ship. the day i cancelled, they announced the T200, so i said, thats a good thing. but if there is anything else, let me know. i want something for an amateur photographer who wants to shoot great scenery and epic shots with the sun and stuff like that. but i also plan to take pics of parties and my friends. so let me know of some good cameras. 8.1 megapixel or higher
