I would like to connect multiple RF outputs into my TV at once. I would like to receive my analog cable channels and connect an air antenna to the TV also to receive digital broadcasts.

I was thinking I could connect my analog cable RF output to a VCR, connect the VCR to the TV via the AV inputs, and have the air antenna to my TVs one RF input.

When I want cable channels, switch to "input 1" on the tv?

whats my best option?

thanks

Your option will work fine. I work at radioshack and we also sell a coaxial A/B splitter, you can just switch the inputs through it. I would also look into getting a dvd recorder with a digital tuner in it, then you could record digital broadcasts onto dvd, and then hook that to the tv with av,component or s-video inputs, and then have analog cable hooked straight to the rf input on the tv. Good luck, you have several options to choose from, if you have any more questions or need advice, you can email me.

Sounds OK, assuming your TV is set up with "input 1" as the VCR.
The disadvantage of this arrangement though is that you won't be able to record the digital broadcasts on your VCR. To do that, you would need to get a separate freeview box specifically for recording. Then you would daisy-chain the RF via the freeview box to the TV. The freeview box would be connected to one of the AV inputs on your VCR.

That's a good plan, except analog cable looks really bad on a big TV. I recommend you get digital cable.
