Consumer Electronics - 12 December 2006

I'm not too good at the lingo, but I'm basically looking for a good value camera, willing to pay up to around $300. Want something compact and easy to use with a good battery and obviously good quality - possibly SLR, although I've never used one before. Any suggestions on a good one? ~I don't have much time to browse, just in NY for a few days, and I'm not good on the lingo - what should I look out for?

I'm not sure if I should switch my cell number over to Verizon and pay the penalty (I don't know what it is) or just keep the Cinuglar account open and switch the number over to Verizon after the Cingular plan expires. I need to open a new Verizon plan before Christmas to take advantage of a special offer.

Everybodes saying WII WII WII,OR 360 but the 360 is one year old so that dosent make it next gen kinda and the wii has 480p 512 mb .....but the ps3 has 1080 p bluray wifi blutooth sixaxis 60 or 20 gb reads all moemory formats and a lot more so why does every body hate the ps3

It is a 4 year old Magnavox television. It seems to be the color that needs time to "warm up". If the TV is off and we turn it on, it goes black immediately. We have to turn the TV off and back on. Round and round we go. Eventually it stays on.

Oddly enough, this started happening when we got our DSL hooked up. I don't think one has to do with another but thought it worth mentioning.

I just want to know how to fix it, if it is possible to fix it.

I have Sansa Sandisk c150, and my computer has stopped recognizing it recently, and when i turn it on on it's screan all I can see is SanDisk's sign and nothing more is showing but that, and it won't turn off. What is wrong? Thanx!
