Your mp3 player shouldn't know the difference between a laptop and a desktop PC, so you probably need to load the drivers for the player onto your laptop.

If your MP3 player is iPOD then It will work with any Mac machine, beside working with any pc. If you have any other MP3 player then will work with laptop or desktop,
good luck.

No that means it will not work with a Mac but even in that case it is poorly worded. PC stands for Personal Computer. A Mac is a personal computer. The problem is that most people associate the letters PC with a non-Mac computer.

It means it will work with any Windows PC (or laptop), but not an Apple or a Linux based computer.
