It is a 4 year old Magnavox television. It seems to be the color that needs time to "warm up". If the TV is off and we turn it on, it goes black immediately. We have to turn the TV off and back on. Round and round we go. Eventually it stays on.
Oddly enough, this started happening when we got our DSL hooked up. I don't think one has to do with another but thought it worth mentioning.
I just want to know how to fix it, if it is possible to fix it.

Your Tv picture tube has been weakened hence it is giving trouble it your guarantee/warantee period is not yet over it will be get it replaced from the dealer you purchased
