Home Theatre PC (HTPC)...?

Question

1) Anyone got one?
2) Do you like it?
3) Is it noisy?
4) Do you leave it on constantly or turn it off?
5) If you do turn it off, is the startup time long?
6) Also if you do turn it off, does it irritate you having to turn it on to watch TV?
7) Was it worth getting/building one?

I actually build Media PC's for HT use. They work rather well.

It is not noisy, and if so there are many brands to choose from.

I leave my own unit in standby mode

Depending on the extent and features you are looking for they are worthwhile. I use mine to control video cameras around my home, record movies and catalog my DVD's and CD's.
