Bluetooth Wireless Technology is integrated into your cell phone. In order to get it to work, you need to first tuen it on in your phone (it's a battery drainer, so it's probably turned off now). You are going to need to get a bluetooth wireless headset to pair with your phone. If you don't have a headset and have a high-end car, it may come equipped with the bluetooth also. The following is the sequence to follow when pairing your phone with a bluetooth headset:
From your phone:
menu>settings>connection (or bluetooth)>turn bluetooth on>yes>search for devices
Now, before you search for devices, make sure that your headset is charged. There is going to be a button on the phone that you will have to push in (in some cases, you may have to push two buttons at once), you will see a light flash on the headset. NOW, this light will either hold one solid color (usually blue) OR flash between two colors (usually blue and red). This is how you know that your headset is in pairing mode. Go back to your phone:
search for devices>ok>(it will find the device)>highlight the device and select>pair with XXXX (headset)?>yes>bluetooth passkey>0000 (always four zeros)>ok>bond with headset?>yes.
There you go! It looks harder than it actually is. When the headset is paired with your phone, you will see either a weird-looking "B" on the homescreen on the top where your signal and battery meters are, or you will see a tiny headset in the same spot.
If you are having troubles linking the two devices together, just take them both into the store where you got it. They should be more than happy to help you.
Good luck!
OH! to make calls, still use your dialing pad on your phone, it will automatically come throught the headset. When someone calls you, just hit the button on the side of the headset, it will answer the phone. To end calls in both scenarios, hit that same button on the side of the headset.

Blue tooth is not used to receive/ make calls. Its used for file transfer between compatible gadgets, it much like infra red being used to transfer files.
What you might probably have is a blooth tooth connection to an internet enabled gadget which then uses another application to make calls. Much like using skye or the newer messengers to make phone calls.
