Software - October 2007

I need to replace my C drive and I used "PC Backup" to copy files to my 2nd hard drive but when I swapped out the old drive the computer won't boot. Microsoft is no help at all!

how do you fix it?

* Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working.

i installed a trial verion of vista on this computer but i don't want it on there anymore trial still has like 20 days but i want to no how to get ride of it and go back to using my old xp

HI,
I have tried to upgrade my computer from Vista Homes Basic to Vista Home |Premium. Where do I start - forget it - it does not work, the problems that the upgrade caused was that I had to contact Dell and Microsoft - as the computer started to go slow and when typing - words came up 10/15 seconds later.
In the end the whole system had to be reverted back to orginal settings. Which has taken couple of weeks nearly.
Then to be told that the ' Vista Home premium' will not work on my computer. ( I really needed that). as when you purchase the upgrade they do not tell you that .
So as to date - I have had to reinstall all drivers etc etc. and so far lost money on the purchase of upgrade as the time period has run out.
Why advertise upgrades that will not work properly on your computer.

Just though I would like to let off steam. many thanks

Hi, Friends send me emails with pictures to download - but as to date I cannot download them
it says download file - I only get text info.
HTML attachment - scan and save to computer
tried to download nothing what am I doing wrong.or more to the point what am I not doing.
Some of the picture are only 25k pdf

when I open each, this error message appears :

well ive donwloaded fruity loops 7 just right now, i have the program in my computer installed now. but if i open it , its is gonna say demo version, bcuz i have tried so many times, lol,

well the file with the fruity loops program cuz with the installation appl,, and a reg key file, which is supose to let me use the programs fully, without any limitations, i click it, and it say reg keys succesfuly added to the registry, but i open fl studio , and its stil in demo, what am i suposed to do ,, help,, is there sumthin special i have to do , plese help , bcuz im usen this for my carreer

i came across it on a "this program has to close" error message.is it pre installed or an official Microsoft program? i never even knew it was on my pc and i cant find it when i search or look in my add or remove list.i have had this pc for years now and it surprises me how i have missed or not had any knowledge of this program.

I cannot fix the corruption problem and it takes a long time to find the problem file and copy only the ones that and not corrupt. I wish windows would just say 'that file is corrupt' and keep moving the other files.
