Software - October 2007

I just reformatted my cdrive and for some reason when I got all my windows updates, and such, I run antisyware, antivirus, no bugs, spyware, BUT now when ever I use ie it freezes for 10-30 seconds and then i can scroll through the page and when i switch pages or navigate through different open windows and try to change to the next page, I freezes.... So annoying!!! PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE MY PC ENDS UP THROUGH THE BEDROOM WINDOW!!!

My computer recently got a virus, and I had to have my hard drive re-formatted. When they did this, I lost all of my programs. I am in desperate need of Microsoft Word, and I am willing to pay, but the only one I can find to buy is 2007. I have worked with 2007 and don't like it, plus it's a little expensive for me. I don't really care what version it is.. just NOT open office. I downloaded that, and I truly hate it. It wont let me open other documents, and it won't let me print. I appreciate your help!!

i made a slide show useing windows movie maker adding my own background music to the slideshow then i coppey it to a dvd disk every thing came out well but when i play it on my dvd player it playes for a while then it starts to skip, freezes and the music is distorted and the pictures are distorted.could any one tell me what am i doing wrong.any advice will be appricated thanks.

Yes, I have gone to 'Add/Delete' on the system, but it won't work. I've tried deleting the file, but that doesn't work either. Suggestions?

That:
-lets you shade certain areas
-lets you make a legend
-shows streets and street names
-allows you to zoom to street level

Cost doesn't matter to me, and it would be nice to be able to print the maps as well.

Anyone know of anything like this?

I cannot save Microsoft Word documents and at the same time, I can not paste some images to Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I already tried re-installing Microsoft Office but it didn't resolve my problem. Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003 is installed in my PC. Thanks.

I've got all these symbols on my word documents that have appeared and I can't get rid of them. One of them is always behind the cursor. It kinda looks like a turned-round P and T joined together. Also there are dots between every word. How do I get rid of these?

its already obvious that there are viruses in limewire. they are the 214.5kb or similar size files. my question is if i accidentally download one of them do i get infected immediately or do i still need to execute them?
