I was able to demote a level by clicking "delete key" once and it'd bring me back up one level but this morning the delete key trick didn't work at all which forced me to click "Tab + shift" in order to get the same effect. This is extremely annoying/time-consuming when fast note taking and I was wondering if someone had a solution for it. MS Office for mac (Word 2004) in notebook layout. Thanks!

I've formatted my windows as well and installed Norton 2007. But still, whenever i connect any pen drive, it shows "Autorun" on the right click menu. I've scanned my PC several times but each time no virus is detected. Please reply with this.

I have AMD Athelon Gateway, The Office 2003 program and the past Mc Afee (Free from Comcast) cause the system run very slow and some times hang up, trying to reinstalll M/S office 2003 still doesn't work. Gateway send me recovery disc and told me to run and wipe out evrything and start like a new fresh computer.
I do need to save some of the programs like: Nero; DVD fab; DVD shrink; Power DVD and some of my personal files in My Document.
How can I save all of those files and later to reinstall back???

This is a fairly new computer (like 8 or 9 months old). They never worked, even when I first got the computer. I am connected to the internet when I try to download the updates, and it says that they are downloading for a few seconds, then say that the download has failed and move on to the next update on the list and do the same thing.

a) any idea why this is happening?

b) is it critical that I get these updates, or is it not really a bug deal if I don't worry about it?

I have a PDF file and I want to be able to type/enter on to but it is not letting me. I know I am unable to save what I type on it. It says it's allowing me but I still can't type on it. Can anyone help me with this? The properties are the same as another PDF file that I have and I can type/enter on to that one. Any suggestions?

I belong to a few online groups and when I had a PC I could used backgrounds and snags to make pretty posts. I am looking for mac compatible programs that will allow me to do the same. I also cannot place stationery in my emails. I love my MAC. This is the only downside.

i mean, today I've noticed questions about buying Mac or changing to it, or questions about comparisions between Microsoft and Mac. To be honest, I'm myself fetching a macbook. Ok i would like to start by saying im sure there are other posts about this on these forums but i am not so great with macs and would appreciate any help i can get. Ok here is my question...

Is it possible to get Leopard on and AMD PC? I have an AMD turion 64X2 1.8GHZ processor and 2 GB of ram. Are there any ways to do this? Should i install Tiger first and then install leopard on top of that? Is it even possible to install Mac OS X on a pc? Is there a way i can dual boot OS X and Vista?
