I have a ME disk.

How can I put this politely.

ME is an abortion of an operating system, even Microsoft apologised for releasing it, though I dont remember them handing out refunds !

I would suggest you consider ditching it altogether and getting XP Home Edition.

If your PC can run ME I would say its almost certain it is capable of running XP.

To check out the system requirements for XP go to this link :

Apologies for being so blunt.

Personally Me, is quite troublesome and unpredictable, you are better of installing Windows Xp. If you wish to reinstall Windows ME just boot from the Installation CD and follow the onscreen Prompts

You need the installation disks for Windows Me.

It's called uninstalling Windows ME and installing Windows XP, it'll fix all your problems, and since Vista is out, XP is fairly cheap! Seriously though, my first computer had ME and it is not a stable OS.
