Is it possible to get Leopard on and AMD PC? I have an AMD turion 64X2 1.8GHZ processor and 2 GB of ram. Are there any ways to do this? Should i install Tiger first and then install leopard on top of that? Is it even possible to install Mac OS X on a pc? Is there a way i can dual boot OS X and Vista? Will i need any special drivers or anything? Is it going to cost anything? PLEASE give me any and all information u think i might need.PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!! Thanks in advance...

Yes of course it's possible. I haven't actually done it yet, but I've found numerous posts that allows a pc user to do it. From what I have read, you can either use VMWARE and install it directly under Windows, or Install native linux first, and the Mac OS on top of it. From what I know they use intel processors, and I'm not sure if it works for AMD.

My friend has Windows and Mac OS on his MacBook Pro, and I really don't see why it should work only one way. :)

The answer is "you don't". You don't have the custom Apple ROMs to run the OS.

You have a common misconception that just because Apple's latest computers are based on Intel CPUs, all Intel-based PC's should be able to run Apple OS. NOTHING can be further from the truth, unfortunately.

Kasey is most probably right. I dont think MAC OS is at all usable with AMDs.

ANSWER IS - YOU CAN'T
APPLE HARDWARE HAS SPECIAL CHIPSET ON MOTHERBOARD THAT INSURES THAT ONLY APPLE SOFTWARE CAN BE LOADED IN COMPUTER - EACH TIME YOU PUT MAC DISK OR TRY TO DOWNLOAD MAC SOFTWARE IT SEARCHES FOR THAT CHIPSET THAT ONLY APPLE HARDWARE HAS AND IF IT CAN'T FIND IT - IT WON'T LOAD
