Go to format, background. In the drop-down box select "Fill Effects", then the "Picture" tab and "Select Picture" Browse to the picture you want, then press "Apply" or "Apply to All"

Picture from file
find your file and insert
the picture will appear in the background of all slides

Just drag it into the slide or select import picture. Delete the background on the slide so its white. Right click on the picture and select format. Chose layout and select behind text. That should work!

you can remove all the icons, and hide the taskbar and hit the print screen button, then go in to powerpoint and paste it. < for a windows if you dont have the image saved anywhere on your comp

just go to insert at the top and click on picture and do from file and it should go on just blow it up when it goes on to the slide!

go 2 FILE, OPEN, then choose the pic.
It's really simple. Then just add the pic and move it to the back, so the words are in front, and make it as big as you want.
