My computer won't start up but gives me this message and the hard drive actually rattles like it's having a hard time. Any help would be most appreciated.

The message was "Could not find file a2fclbxy.sys" and then it was followed by "please hit any key to reboot" or something like that. I normally have no problems and the only thing that I did recently was install my school version of Visual Studio for my programming class. Perhaps it could be caused by that, I don't know.
I am using my wife's computer to ask this question.

that was only a filename not a message !
If you try posint again withe the complete ane exact message we might have a chance to help you.
(At least I understand you have access to another PC to write th equestion !)
