ok seriously its a free photoshop like program.
but dont get me wrong, people try to say gimp is close to photoshop, well maybe but i think its not even close, but it is free, so check it out, and its pretty much the best free one.

GIMP is a software sortof like Photoshop, but a lot more basic. You can manipulate images and put different textures on them and whatnot. I used to use it to color in Manga scans. He he.
