i just recently cleaned up my computer. got rid of some programs that wasnt being used. i realised that whenever i try and listen to a video on the web the picture shows, but there is no sound. how can i fix this problem?

First, make sure that this is not a driver's issue by adjusting your sound volume: Start>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices.
If the volume is at max, and there's still no sound, check the following:
right click My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager> and make sure that Sound, Video and Game Controllers do not have an exclamation mark. If it does, that means your audio drivers are not set up properly.
IF the computer a brand name, go to manufacturer's website, and download the appropriate sound drivers by entering you computer's serial number.

please install sound drivers from respective motherboard cd.
