Is there a FREE programme that can rip videos from youtube then be converted into iPod videos or mp3 files. Also the programme lets you convert videos longer than 5minutes long. :)

whats better? will linux run MS office? i only need a computer to play games, surf the net, and type stuff. does linux support windows software?
what are the strengths of linux?
i plan on getting a new desktop, so i need to know if i should get it with vista or save a hundred bucks and get linux.

just give me a detailed explanation of how linux works compared to windows, in layman terms, please.

Im planning to buy a computer with vista, and they tell me I have to pay $80 for this dumb microsoft office or watever with word. any way to avoid paying, by using an older version perhaps? Also, is vista that great? If I buy a computer with Windows XP instead what am I missing out on? Will my gaming needs be hampered?

We are a very small company ( 3 People ). We are looking for a program that can used online that will manage our clients. That way if someone goes online and makes a change to a client, the next person online will see the changes. We just need to manage the names, numbers, notes and maybe a couple custom fields. Anyone have any good advice that doesn't cost a fortune.

Ok so i saw this video of a water baloon popping on break.com and it was awesome! It went so slow i cant even explain! You can still see the water in the shape of a baloon. Can anyone tell me how to make a video like that? Wat i m really asking is.. Is there any free software I can download which I can edit videos in? To make them go really slow? When I restarted it, I opened it and it seemed to have downloaded all the way, how can I be sure?. FYI, it is Windows XP, I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop and my previous IE version was 6. It didn't really freeze, my anti-spyware application just popped up and viewed it as a suspicious program while the download application said "installing core components" or something, but I was able to go the start and restart so it really wasn't frozen, the download application just appeared to have stopped in the background and I couldn't close my ant-spyware window

i was downloading the virtual world thing at vmtv.com and clicked out before it FULLY dl'ed, it works and all but I dont want it anymore, but when I go to uninstall it wont

I HAVE GONE TO CONTROL PANEL and tried remove programs and its not even on the list, but the memory is still in the comp....i went to the files c:/Program Files and its there, but theres no uninstall file....so I dont know how to get rid of it...
