Just delete the folder in Program Files. The information may still remain in the registry, but it shouldn't effect your system. The most you'll get is an error message when you startup saying "vmtv could not be found". The most this will do is become annoying. If this does come on everytime you login or startup your PC, go to Start > Run and type "msconfig" (no quotes). Then go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck anything that appears to do with MTV. You can actually click "disable all" which will just stop all your programs from starting when you start your computer. The only downside is you'll have to go and open each program yourself, but most people don't need 15-20 different programs running all at once right when you login.

Before just "deleting" the folders, go to Start/Programs? and see if it is there with an option to uninstall. Then if that does not work, go to their website and see if they offer advice on the proper removal tools. Lastly, do a system restore back to before you installed the program. It shoudl remove it completely.
Just because you do not "see" it, does not mean it will not effect your PC. As a matter of fact, this could cause more problems.

2 ways, go to the programs site and see if they offer an UnInstall for the program.
2nd If you are skilled enough yo can go to Start Run and type in regedit and go through all the files that are in all areas and delet anything that is related to that program.
If you are not sure of what you are doing DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS.
Because if you don't know you can render your computer as a window weight.
This is one of the downfalls of downloading from the Internet and from sites you do not know or trust.
Thats where all the malware, viruses, and trojans come from.

Go back to where you found it and RIGHT-CLICK it. You will get a drop-down menu with delete included, left-click the culprit to delete it.
IF that don't work, go to the Command prompt screen (DOS), and go to the proper folder where it is located. (Find out where it is in Windows first). Then with DOS commands, go to the proper directory (folder) and type (without the quotation marks), the following:
"DEL filename" (filename is xxxxxxxx.xxx)
PS: you get to the proper directory (folder) by using the CD (change directory) command.
There is a more direct method but I think that you are probably confused enough right now, ain't that right?

Use system restore. Just choose a date before you installed the program.
Start - Programs - Accessories - Systems Tools - System Restore
