Yes there is a certian amount of space allocated for wirting lead ins and outs on any DVD Project
It's like this when you purchase a standard 4.7gb disc you don not have that much space to work with, depending on the manufacture and format, and speed you normally can only get 4.3gb tops.
If I may be so bold I suggest you do a little Googling and Educate yourself on the subject, it can be very confusing because you see most folks think DVD is DVD and I am sorry to say that just ain't so.
When burning it depends on the Optical unit in your computer the Speed and Format it is capable of burning, How Much Ram is in your Machine and How much free space have you got.
Not to mention the Software you are using as well as the Speed and Format of the Disc's you are trying to use, like I said in a perfect world you just stick in your disc drag the project into the software and hit burn.
I am sorry it isn't that easy.

Your project isn't report formats, as you probable do not understand, the technique of burning a video DVD actually converts it to a particular report format. the only difficulty you are able to attempt to do to greater healthful the two on there is to bypass into the more desirable thoughts and alter the compression settings, sacrificing high quality to greater healthful them the two on there. There reason the DVDs you purchase can greater healthful a lot on their is by using the fact they're twin layer, meaning that each and every of those DVDs is just about 2 in one. That and that they in all danger have somebody who will pay close interest to the encoding to decrease length. on the different hand, the reason the report sizes selection a lot is by using the fact they have diverse compression algorithms and ranging compression tiers. as a approaches through fact the algorithms are in contact, the information are probable encoded with a greater suitable set of rules than mpeg (that's utilized by making use of dvd gamers), subsequently an identical video would be larger on an identical point of compression. The compression tiers make a extensive distinction to boot as compression isn't actually maintained. once you re-encode the video to mpg, it does not shield the tricks used to maintain the report length small, fairly it decompresses it to the finished video then encodes it to mpeg from there. this implies that it rather is rather conceivable to encode it as a greater suitable high quality video than the unique, yet on an identical time you will not actually income from now on high quality.
