The newest version of Apple's media player, iTunes 4.8, now supports video and syncs calendar and contact information to your iPod.
In addition to iTunes' superior music library management (fast search through multi-gigabytes, ratings, Smart Playlists, etc), now you can drag and drop video files onto iTunes and add to playlists, convert to MP3 and assign ratings. iTunes can play the video file (Quicktime only) full screen (use the button on the lower left hand side) or within the song artwork panel. You don't need an iPod or a Mac to use iTunes - free download from Apple, Mac or Windows.
iTunes [Apple]
UPDATE: iPodLounge reports that "Apple has made a select number of music videos available for download as bonuses to single or album purchases at the iTunes Music Store. For instance, those who buy Morcheeba's The Antidote will get the video for the band's "Wonders Never Cease" for free with the album. There does not currently appear to be any videos available for individual purchase."
A commenter on that article adds, "there is also now support for digital booklets, which I can only assume are the inserts in CDs with lyrics, pictures, etc. It's being offered as part of some Dave Matthews Band album on iTunes which also include a music video."
Finally, when you try to sync video with an iPod, the message reads, "iTunes could not copy a song onto iPod because this iPod cannot play this song," bold mine. Video iPod, anyone?
UPDATE 2: Apparently not. An anonymous Apple employee and Slashdot poster says, "Everybody's wrong about the video iPod thing. A video iPod would be a dumb idea for lots of reasons, some technical, some psychological. If you want to know where we're going with video playback, look not to the iPod but to its considerably less famous little brother, AirPort Express."

I go to websites like Best Buy.com and search for the album. Then I copy the album cover and paste it into the left corner box on Itunes.
