I have just bought a computer with windows XP on and the version is not an original but a copy. This means I cannot update windows or windows media player which I need to have working. Is there any other way than buying an original windows XP disc that I can validate my computer to allow updates?

My IE 7.0 suddenly crashes right away every single time I open it. I can't even check any settings. This only happened immediately after I installed Norton Antivirus and Confidential 2007. I tried Norton's suggestion of disabling Internet Worm Protection and deleteing all blocked programs.
I also uninstalled and Reinstalled IE.
Windows XP with 768 MB of RAM. I cleaned all temp files as well.

Hello,

I was given and mp3 player from a friend who got it free...so yes it is probably a crappy mp3 player but I still want to use it until it craps out but here is my thing.

She got this mp3 player free from work and it literally has no brand on it. I put the driver in and it has tools on it called--Mp3 player disk tool, AMV convert tool and AMV player and a sound convert tool...

How do the heck can get basic songs on this thing if you have any ideas I am willing to try and I would appreciate it.

If it helps music formats excepted are: mp1, mp2, mp3, wma, wmv, asf, and wav. Operating system is Windows 98/ME/2K/XP, Mac OS10 and Linux 2.4.2

Other than that literally not much of model number,

I went to paste a table and now it will not respond..the hour glass is just there...and it will not allow me to do anything...completely frozen...when you go to ctrl/alt/del it says the document is not responding...I am afraid if I hit end task ...for it-- the entire document will close down---is there anyway I can prevent this...stop the "paste table" or save the document....what will happen if i do end task....will it shut the document down...and will I lose everythin...thanks

im using aim 4.7 for mac and whenever i look at someones profile it just closes and says " the application quit unexpectedly" this is soo annyoing and i tried reporting it more than i can count....... SOMEONE HELP
p.s AIM 6.0 has no mac version

I'm trying to work on a project in French on PowerPoint, but the program won't open! Whether I click on the icon to open the program or try to open the project itself, nothing happens! I have Microsoft Office 2000. Word and Excel seem to be working just fine. Might somebody be able to explain how to solve this? Thank you!
