heres what im downloading it says i have a free 30 day trial and then it will expire, is their any way(tricks) that i can do like setting the date back on the computer to extend the trial period also...once i download will i be able to re-download or will it say ive already had my 30 day trial...

Hi i am thinking of upgrading my O.S but dont want to upgrade my p.c for a year or two. Is it worth buying Windows vista home basic or upgrading from xp home to xp professional. Which is better and i dont care about how much it costs.

Are the three programs J2SE Runtime Enviroment 5.0 Update 10, J2SE Runtime Enviroment 5.0 Update 3, and Java 2 Runtime Enviroment, SE v1.4.2_03 needed for the computer to run. If some of them aren't please tell me which ones I can delete. Thanks so much, Brodster.

Simply put, the "Blue Screen of Death" comes up. This occurs after I’ve booted from the CD and it's scanning all the file; the usual. A few minutes later, the screen comes up. What's the problem? Any alternative ideas on how to downgrade from vista. Thanks

since a nasty virus on saturday i have since re-installed windows and made my security much stronger
but is there a back up program that will actually back up the whole operating system and in the case of a massive system crash i can re-install windows xp from a back up location
i dont want to use windows system restore,just a program that if needed i can roll back over the old os
oh yes and it must be free(theres got to be one)

ok i'm making a 9/11 montage and want to add video and i already tried downloading from google but not correct file. the only place i can downlad videos to import into movie maker is gametrailers.com which ohviously wont have the content i'm looking for. so any sites i can download videos from for free

I have a database export and I need to strip the HTML Markup from the cells in 2 columns to create a feed. Find and replace using <*> gives me "formula too long". There are about 13,000 rows. ASAP Utilities doesn't have a feature for that.

I have a cd with pics on it, it works fine on the other computer in the office, but not on mine, it says that i need to format it, what do i need to do to view these pictures, it is a regular dell computer with regular windows drive, please help, thank you!!! My computer is fine and so is the disc if that helps

When I run the 8th CD of my 8 HP recovery CDs ( 1st 7 CD installed/copied fine), a message appears ...Problem with extracting process....file name. Then if I click Ok the message will continue to display many, many files it can't extract. It won't reinstall my XP HOME and orig application. Just sits there

I'm trying to get a promotion at work and working out a solution to this intese Excel problem will make me into a hero here and help me learn about Excel.

Here is the problem:

I have a massive excel file 5000 rows long and 15 columns wide.

Column A has the name of the incentive Contract
Column B has the names of Car Models
Column C has the incentive type (either lease or retail)
Column D has the length of term (either 24, 36 or 48)
Column E has the Interest rate %.

I need a lookup I can put in a cell that finds the percentage interest rate based on the Incentive contract, specific Model, Incentive Type and Length of Term

For example: "Ford Gold Medal Lease" "Ford Focus" "Lease" "36"

I need the % interest rate in Column E to be the result of the equation. Please help me out, I need it...

Something happened to my task menager,when i press the right button of the mouse and when I choise task menager on my desktop appears just the running programs,there is nothing else-I cannot choise to see about the performanse and the running processes,there are no buttons for that.Please if you know how can I fix it help me.There is no a button to close or minimize the task menager,too.

Many times a day I make MS Word files from large text files which I then format to fit pages properly then email to whoever.

The problem is that when I first save as a .doc the resulting file will be say, 2MB in size which is a very large file to email.

I have found that if I then re-open the .doc file and edit it (add and delete exactly one space, just to make it count as modified) then save it again, the file size drops by around half - 1MB.

Why do I have to go through this step? Is there a way to make it save with the smallest size the first time? The option 'allow fast saves' is NOT checked and I can't see any other relevant options.

i tried to delete it using "Add or Remove Programs" but it couldn't be removed. There appears table:
"Setup has experienced an error.
Please do the following:
-close any running programs
-emty temporary folder
-check your Internet connection"
well i have done these things, but i can't delete it anyway...
