i have hundreds of pictures at home taken years ago.they are not from digital cameras.i would just like a program which has a stylish interface,and good templates.it would be like an online scrapbook.i dont mind if the software is free or not.and is it possible to still be able to print back your picture to paper off the type of program im looking for.thanks

I would suggest you check out ScrapEase.com. It is free and has a lot of the features you are looking for.

Flickr does the trick for me. You can tag your pictures to make them easy to search later, and they provide the ability to comment over parts of them providing cute quotes and whatnot. Not to mention it's free, easy to use, and has plenty of addons or plugins so that you can upload files directly from your browser. Check it out.

i personally dont mind using photobucket. I dont really know of anyhting else and it is all i have ever used. I had to open 2 accounts b/c it wouldnt hold all of my pics, but i think if you pay for it it gives u a TON of space. If not then i dont know of anything else, sorry.

You could also try picasa - it's owned by google and if you have a google account, you can upload to picasaweb.

when you get them on the computer, you can go to photobucket.com and create an account to upload them there.
