im trying to design an advert for a paper and it needs to be a certain size (6.5 cm x 4.25 cm)
ive tried page properties, but its not working properly, can someone help?

There r so many ways of doing so:
1-If ur advertise has only pictures then insert them and then u can make them small or big by selecting it & then it is easy to do so.
2-Make your advertise on paint then insert it on word & from there u can change its size.
3-Use short fonts to make a small advertise.
4-File-->Page setup then u can change the print out size.

I went to Tools --> Options --> General and set Measurement Units to Centimeters then went to File --> Page Setup and then set the Height and Width to the appropriate measurements

File -> Page Setup.
Click on the 'Paper Size' tab.

i don't think word itself will let you, try microsft business templates, you might find what your looking for there!!!good luck
