If I were to purchase the upgrade version of Vista (the $150 software that upgrades XP or 2000) is it possible to cheat the system? I have a bad copy of XP, and I can get 2k, If I were to buy the legit upgrade copy of Vista from the store, could I just upgrade from that?

I have a "Seagate" external hard drive that I use to back-up my songs as I have a lot of them and a ton of them have been bought from the iTunes Store. I have also authorized 3 computers to play my music, and whenever I use my external hard drive to move and copy my music from one Library to another, a lot of times I get all of these black exclamation points by songs -- which are songs that I copied previously -- and when I go to click on those songs, I get a message that says: "The song '_______' could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" What I have been having to do is actually copy each of my libraries that I copy into my iTunes Library onto my desktop and when this happens, then I have to recopy the songs back into my Library and go through and delete the ones with the exclamation points. This is very frustrating, not to mention time- consuming. I have no idea why this is happening. Does anyone know what's going on???

I have a problem with the trial version of after effects, where the program will begin like it usually does with the small loading screen, but after that only an outline of the program shows up. All the tabs on the top work fine, and everything loads up but I cant see it. I can see the desktop right where after effects program is supposed to be. Please Help Me!

I am trying to import my video from my Sony Handycam MPEG
into Windows Movie Maker. I kept getting a window telling me I needed to download a codec, so I did, but I still keep getting the same screen . Why isn't the codec work? does it need to be configured?
The codec is ffdshow

my CD burner wont work. i put in a perfectly clean new disk, and it says its scratched or dirty. i try another, same thing. EVERY CD i try to burn does this, im using Windows Media Player 11. I tried with WMP10 too, same thing. PLZ HELP!

well after i hit run and after validation it does nothing like where u going to install it just is here nothings happens also it says its extracting to my H drive and that is my backup external. also quicktime i cant unstall bueacse i get a error saying i cant uninstall it and i am the admin on the pc cuz there is only me...and i cant deleat it manuly.....czu it says i dont have the right to..also i cant update my fash when it says its compleat and installed but nothing install to my pc cuz i noramly says yes update but i just says i updated so when i go back to the sight it says i need to install the new ver. i mess wiht my tool--->internet options-->cutsom and i think i mgiht of messed something up! or something i dont know help!!!!!

I have the newest version of that program and now after I installed all the updates it's asking me to upgrade the program and won't take no for an answer!
In the am I Protected section it says No

How can I overcome this problem because am not going to buy the upgrade and happy with this version

Ok, I can't watch any flash videos (ie. YouTube, Myspace videos...) and I can't play any flash games online. Everytime I try to do it, it says that I need to install Macromedia's Flash Player or get the new version of it. So I go to the website to download it then I follow all the steps until it says that a pop-up widow will soon come up asking me where I would like to save the file. This never happens though. I wait, and I wait, but nothing pops up. I know that if I have a popup-blocker than there's a little golden bar that should come up on my tabs but that doesn't show up either. Has anyone have any ideas on how to fix this at all? It would really help!

i bit torrented age of mythology and its 2 disks ok so when i go install with the first folder which is name disk(1) how do i make it switch to disk 2 like i open the disk to folder and click application but how do i make it continue installing like i have the expansion disk FOR REAL but im torrenting the origional disks PLZ HELP no smart alec remarks plz
