In my opinion the best software to burn CDs/DVDs is Ashampoo Burning. It's a free software and it can be downloaded here: http://bit.ly/1lAUoV6
If you want to make a DVD that will work on a common DVD player, you definitely need a burning software. Copying the movie as is directly to a new DVD it's not the right way to do it (If you do so your DVD player will not be able to play the video/movie properly).
The most reliable DVD burning program I used it Ashampoo Burning. It works with all types of videos and music (both with DVDs and CDs). Ashampoo is a very modern and professional software (you can also edit videos and create DVD menus)

this is a no-nonsense way of doing what you want to do,first you dont need to buy anything just follow these instructions
look for the songs/music you wish to download then press the download link, when the save window opens, press save and then save to a "new folder" called music downloads
now go to http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php,and download the trial version of nero and download this again to your hard drive ,and install when ready
when you have downloaded your music, click the nero7 icon on your desktop and choose the type of disc you are using(dvd or cd) and then the task,in your case you want the music options such as make a mp3 disc,or w.m.a disc, click this and you will be given a new window with a add link on the right ,press this and then you will see another window were you need to browse and find the folder were your music is
once you find this ,highlight the song you wish to burn and then press add, this will add the song to your burning list, then just repeat the process again, pick a song, then add, once you have finished or you have reached your disks capacity, press finish then click the burn button to start the burn
depending on the type of media you are using this can take from 2 minutes to 20 minutes, once the process is complete your cd/dvd will be ejected
nero is only a 30 day trial, but it will give you enough time to master the art of burning music
good luck mate

there are a lot of downloading software out there. some are free and some you have to pay. you can just do a search on google for filesharing software and take your pick. after you download that software then you can start searching for music. the software will make you pick a folder to save all the music. once you have enough music to put on a cd, drag and drop all the music files to your windows media player. then from there you can burn. of course, you have to have a cd burner on your computer in order for this to work. good luck!

The burning software I like the most is Ashampoo Burning. It's 100% free and can be downloaded here: http://bitly.com/1lAVuA9
A burning software is a tool that you need to create new CDs and DVDs. To make them working properly you need to burn them with a good software. Ashampoo is a very modern and reliable software that I recommend. It has plenty of other functions (e.g. you can edit videos and create DVD menus)

For download you need a program p2p peer-to-peer, some programs have all the music free, or others have to pay for download the music, for free I recomend the emule 0.47c, and for transfer the music to a cd you need a recording unit on your computer and a virgin cd.

well one way i do it is i joined rhapsody there it allows you to listen all you want or buy songs per track or complete CD. it will also burn Cd's from the songs you buy. i like it this way because you can pick the songs you like and burn them to a CD. this way you do not waste your money buying a whole CD just to get one song you like. some people in other answers here say use a p2p like bear share, frost wire, utorrent, bitlord, or azureus just to name a few. but i do not really want to use these programs because you can get infected with virus or Trojans or hacker attacks etc. besides if you read all the fine print they all mostly say they are not held responsible for illegal use and they do not condone trading of copyrighted material. so to me this means there way out of being accused of piracy and it would fall onto those who do trade copyrighted music, movies, or games, etc. so if it was me i would stay away from p2p programs and do it legally. hey i would rather pay 88 to 98 cents per song that i wanted than be arrested for trading copyrighted material from a p2p program. besides with rhapsody you can listen to songs all the way through not just a 30 second clip and the price is very reasonable too. just my opinion. hope this helps...... oh by the way some say and its free and these p2p sites say the same but in reality you are taking a big chance and in my opinion it is the same as stealling even though they say its free and legal. its only free and legal with non copyrighted material and that's where they suck you in because so many people do not read the fine print.

If you already have the music on other CD's, you need to rip them.(Windows Media Player has ripping software). If you need the music, you could get it legally, (iTunes, Walmart, ect.)or illegally w/t Limewire, or Morphious. Most computers have burning software(again Windows Media Player, or Sonic, ect.) That should do it.

If you have XP Pro, and you just want MP3 tunes, then you just have to save the files to a Directory, then come Time for the Burn, drag and drop to a Fresh disc in your CD Burner, and it will do it for you.... unless you want CDA files, in which case, but a Copy of ROXIO
