cus my friends computer got messed up and im not sure if it was cuz of limewire

I don't know what I am doing. I found the tools and the correct label template. I pushed the merge mail. and I don't know what a field is or a record is and can't find the answer. When I try to get the information on my list to fill into the labels what I get instead is this: <>. HELP Someone!! I tried going back to the list of addresses and putting a / at the beginning and end of each name and address but that didn't help either. The word doc. that I have is 2 collumns with names and addresses made with 2 text boxes. I have never done anything like this and I don't want to have to cut and paste each one. But I don't have a clue as to what I am doing. Can anyone help me??

I have 4 browsers open at once. I click on a link on one, and while loading, I read the other. In IE6, the newly loaded page would just flash orange at the bottom of the screen, but not interrupt the page I was reading. Now with IE7 (I have tabs turned OFF), instead of flashing orange, it INTERRUPTS what I'm doing and brings itself to the top of all windows. How do I change this to not place itself in front of all other windows when refreshing.

I do not have any viruses, or adware. I have 1 gig of ram. I have a legal version. It should open within a few seconds but it takes my computer over 35 seconds to open this program. I do not notice this delay with any other program.

I have tabs disabled (I do NOT use tabs), and I want to keep it that way. I open multiple windows just like I did with IE6. BUT EVERYTIME, A PAGE REFRESHES OR LOADS, IT POPS UP OVER ALL OTHER PROGRAMS ON MY COMPUTER. HOW DO I STOP THIS???? thanks.

I created data tables on microsoft excel at work and saved them in my USB flash drive. I copied the information from the USB into my hardrive. It seams that it takes a few secons longer for the file to open when I do it from the hardrive than when i do it from the USB flas drive. Does copy & paste affect the quality of a ducument? If I keep coping and pasting the same document over and over, will the cuality of the "copies" be different?
