If you use Norton why do you use it?

Hi!
When I'm trying to open some of my PSD files, I get this error:
"Could not complete your request because the layer is not a valid text layer."
What should I do?

I used to have all of my music on media player and then I downloaded Real Player , now it seems like all of my new tunes are going in there. I want them in my Media player and not the Real Player. So my question is how do i stop the music from going into the Real Player , and go to the Media Player instead.
Do you think If I remove the Real Player that my music would automaticaly go into the Media Player?
Because I can add/remove the Real Player anytime I want.

I dunno, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Please use 'dummy terms', as I am not any kind of computer expert.

I am thinking about getting a Mac, but I have heard that when you use Parallels to run Windows, it goes slow because of layering Windows OS source code over Mac's. Is it true that it goes too slow for playing games?

I use to be able to go to my pictures folder and click on one of my downloaded camera pictures and go to copy to cd,but for some reason my settings got changed and I cannot copy onto a cd now....it downloads to local disk c and then I have to go there and then it tells me theres an error with writting to the cd. Does anyone have any info on this...Thanks, Louise

My computer has 80GB,512 RAM and is 2.8 GHz. Intel Celeron. Its got a low graphic card(32 MB). ATI Radeon 9200 chipset. But even when I choose a 16 MB graphics game to play, it still doesnt. It installs it fine, but when it comes to "Start Game" at the menu screen.The computer just resets. It cant play Google Earth either! Please Help me! All my friends can play games on theirs, and mine is faster!

I have a massive data set which i need to statistically analyse. When i copy the raw data into excel it occupies one column even though it appears as three columns inside column A. How do i time efficiently separate these 3 columns into recognisable columns in excel i.e. A,B,C? The data set consists of 1000's of individual datum so it would be a life saver to find out!

I cant use the other image forms because these are part of a latex project. I need to do some simple editing such as adding arrows in the pictures. Windows-Paint does not support the wmf files. Also photofilter does not support them. Why dont people use jpeg, gif, bmp files and so on? Help needed!

i am having a genuine windows xp sp3. now i want to format it again. if i shall format and reload the same wnidows xp sp3. then i shall be getting a invalid genuine key....is it true????? then how to format...or it is not possible to format a genuine windows.??

I currently work from an acer laptop and recently it has become extremely slow when performing any actions. I'm not sure if there's a virus on it or not, I have F-secure virus software which says there's no virus on it but still the computer works slowly. Is it therefore possible to get some software which will examine my computer and resolve any problems?

Alright, here is the thing.
I have microsoft word 2003. i have been working on a project using word. (i have the word file on a USB flash disk). I recently installed norton internet security 2007. Anyway, i was in the middle of the writing and i pressed save. i got a message that said "Could not save because the file is unavailable". i looked up the file in the USB drive where it should be, but it wasn't there anymore. Luckily i had a back up on the same flash disk. i opened it and continued working, saving the work every few minutes. Finally, it also gave me the same message. it said that once of the caused is this: an antivirus program might thought that this file is infected and deleted it. i had another back up and i scanned the file and it said it was not infected. i updated norton again. what is the problem? i am afraid to work on the project again as i might lose it. what can i do? please help. thank you so much.
