I can't add any new bookmarks or folders about 8 out of 10 attempts. Since no one seems to know how to fix this, I guess I have to reinstall IE7. How do I do this without creating more problems? The thing is, I can't believe how much I actually like IE7. I know Firefox and Opera are better, but I just don't have the time to hassle with the fact that, unfortunately, Microsoft is still the bully that does have easier access, etc...when it functions properly!!!

How do I proceed? Same question , kind of, about Sonic's Digital Media Studio.....do I uninstall before installing a different Sonic program (Creator)? I understand the rule, in general, is to uninstall first, but it is confusing when the software you are installing is like an upgrade . The Sonic thing has made a big mess, and I keep getting error messages whenever I boot up my pc. I have to add more ram....that wouldn't affect the Favorites, would it? Thanks.

I ran the upgrade advisor and it said it could run the basic vista and the premium vista, but the express upgrade may cost me cause it came with WIN XP home edition, do you think i should enroll in the program or wait and get a free copy of the net hohoho

My outlook and internet explorer run very slow. Other programs run fine.

For example, instead of using internet explorer I run firefox. It seems like something is seriously wrong with the two programs because performing simple operations take forever on both programs. For example, if I open an email in outlook it can take a few minutes, then if I print that can take up to five minutes.

Other Microsoft programs such as word and excel run fine. Outlook and internet explorer are the only problems.

I thought my problem wasn't enough memory. I had about 500mb memory so I upgraded to over 1GB memory and I haven't noticed a difference.

My computer came with MS Office and when I looked for MS Word there was only this cheap version of software called MS Office OneNote. (What cheapskates Microsoft are becoming). Anyway, I installed MS Word and Excel and this OneNote software is redundent and taking up to much valuable space. I need to know if just I delete it, will I loose some DLL files that are needed to run MS Office.

Whenever I download songs from iTunes and put them onto my iPod, they will play for a little bit but then after about a minute or less, they go to the next song. They downloaded all the way, so why won't they play right? This also happens sometimes when they are in my library as well. All of my other songs that I got from other sources work.

I am trying to open a webpage which I have had other people test; they are able to open the page. I have tried with Firefox, IE6, IE7 and netscape. I have cleared the cache and history, cleared all cookies, run spyware, rebooted, reset the modem (cable), checked my settings - all with no avail.

My daughter needs on this page to do an online class. Can anyone suggest anything . . . please.

A friend give me his "old" workstation with Linux as operating system.
But I like to run this computer with Windows XPpro!
But i got a problem. After switching on the display show me this:
initialize prozessor 0
initialize prozessor 1
initialize prozessor 2
initialize prozessor 3
prossesor are means CPU? I ask this, because on the lizenceplate of my new Windows XPpro stand 1 - 2 CPUs!

It is true and neccessary to buy Windows 2003 version or will XPpro also run on a computersystem with 4 CPU's?
May I have two processors without license?

Please help - I like to install XPpro on this weekend!
is a four cpu version of xp avaible?
Or is only a software driver needed?

I was posting this question also in th german YC, but I think, there are only amateurs :(
