I ran the upgrade advisor and it said it could run the basic vista and the premium vista, but the express upgrade may cost me cause it came with WIN XP home edition, do you think i should enroll in the program or wait and get a free copy of the net hohoho

Personally, I wouldn't touch vista for another year AT LEAST. Wait til the first service pack comes out.....you don't want to waste your time installing a whole new OS just to have a million bugs and glitches on it.....It's happened with every other OS microsoft has put out.....If i were you i'd wait.

I didn't bother with Vista, there's going to be quite a few bugs over the next year with it anyway... I'll wait and get a clean copy.

Just wait to get the free one. You may end up taking it off anyway. I have had bad experience with different versions of windows at the time of upgrade. It will never work as it should and it will never work as it once did, its the bad part.
