I am trying to open a webpage which I have had other people test; they are able to open the page. I have tried with Firefox, IE6, IE7 and netscape. I have cleared the cache and history, cleared all cookies, run spyware, rebooted, reset the modem (cable), checked my settings - all with no avail.

My daughter needs on this page to do an online class. Can anyone suggest anything . . . please.

(the site is eclass.tcdsb.org)

I have tried changing the security levels and it is not my ISP as others using my ISP can open the page

It isn't the firewall, that has been previously tried and tried and tried again.

I was able to open the page using one of the anonymous sites given, however my daughter can not log in through there so it is not a solution to the problem.

If nothing of above works for you, try to open the site through a proxy site. Here are some good proxy sites-
www.cyberarmy.com
www.anonymizer.com
www.btunnel.com
www.vtunnel.com
www.kickadmin.com
www.anonymouse.org
www.proxy.org
www.proxify.com
www.youhide.net

Good luck.

This webpage is opened when I tried. It's about Blackboard Learning System.

I think the page is blocked by your firewall. This is somewhat strange but since it can't be opened with any of the web browsers, that makes sense.

Follow these steps.

1. Disable your firewall temporarily.

2. Now try to open the web page.

3. If this fails, just disable the firewall permanently, given that your antivirus and other protection systems are turned on.

4. Restart the computer.

Now the webpage should open. But remember to turn on the firewall once you're through with it.

Good luck !!
