I used to have all of my music on media player and then I downloaded Real Player , now it seems like all of my new tunes are going in there. I want them in my Media player and not the Real Player. So my question is how do i stop the music from going into the Real Player , and go to the Media Player instead.
Do you think If I remove the Real Player that my music would automaticaly go into the Media Player?
Because I can add/remove the Real Player anytime I want.

I dunno, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Please use 'dummy terms', as I am not any kind of computer expert.

Thank You.

ALSO, IF I REMOVE REAL PLAYER, WILL THE SONGS THAT ARE 'TRAPPED' IN THERE BE LOST? OR WILL THEY AUTOMATICALY GO TO THE MEDIA PLAYER?

ANOTHER DETAIL, I HAVE MEDIA CENTER (WHICH IS WHAT I WANT TO PLAY MY SONGS ON) AND MEDIA CENTER, I AM BECOMING CONFUSING, I KNOW, BUT MY SONGS ARE STUCK IN THE REAL PLAYER, AND I WANT THEM IN MEDIA CENTER, NOT NECISSARILY MEDIA PLAYER. I AM COMPUTER STUPID, SO I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT TO DO.

re-set media player as your default player -- just because real is saving the music doesnt mean wmp cant play it -- just be sure when you save your music your saving it in an mp3 format -- its more universal that way

If you remove your Real player, the Windows Media player will automatically become your "default" player. That means that all your music will open in Media player.

right click on a media file choose properties (bottom) on the menu and you'll see real player logo in opened window , than change it to windows media player.
2nd option: Open windows media player. Tools, options, file types, select all.

Just do what am I saying . Your not gonna lose any file don't worry.
