in my computer..my pictures, help with drivers settings will not copy to cd?

I use to be able to go to my pictures folder and click on one of my downloaded camera pictures and go to copy to cd,but for some reason my settings got changed and I cannot copy onto a cd now....it downloads to local disk c and then I have to go there and then it tells me theres an error with writting to the cd. Does anyone have any info on this...Thanks, Louise

This happens sometimes when you don't "Close Session" after burning a CD, the easiest way would be to find the CD you had in the drive at the time the computer messed up and see if you can close the session (right click on the icon of your cd in "my computer") that should fix it up. Otherwise, you can update the drivers for your burning drive, or take the computer apart (if it's NOT under warrenty) unhook the drive, start it up, let it load, shut it down, hook the drive back up and start the computer back up(hard boot).

Download Nero or Easy CD Creator at www.downloads.com and you can burn you cd that way. Make sure you have a blank cd and that you drive hasnt been switched and also make sure it works if you just put in a music cd then it should open on your computer. Hope this helps
