A virus attacked my computer at home, and it will not allow me to use my cd drive... it doesn't read any cd i put in. So i want to format my computer using the restoration cd.. how do i start up my computer, to where i can use my cd drive.. or how can i do this... anyone???

is there a website where i can convert a photoshop file to a jpg. because i made a file with ImageReady from photoshop and it saved it only as photoshop and i cannot use photoshop to save it as something else, and also imageready will only save it as a photoshop file. plz help.

I downloaded 5 files from rapidshare. i try to open them with winrar. it starts to extract but on the halfway it stops. there were some problems. i even deleted and redownloaded some of them. it still says"unexpected end of archieve". what is wrong and what should i be doing?

I have SIMS 2 and the family fun stuff expansions pack and now when i play it the walls flash red and if i paint the walls they still flash red..Any advice on what to do ? Is this normal? Is there some way to get them not to be red?

My sister bought a new computer recently and someone set it up for her. Everything works fine but the Outlook Express "spell check" is not operable. I did some investigation and went to "tools" and then "options" in her Outlook Express window and discovered that there was no spelling tab in there! Mine has one.

It just appears that she has no spell check program on her computer. Is that possible?? I thought XP comes with that program. Do you know what might be going on??

Help. Does anyone know what registry keys to modify/remove in order to wipe out all remnants of norton internet security 2006? I have tried the norton uninstaller tool already.

My problem is, I have purchased Norton internet security 2007, and it keeps associating it to the key I had installed for Norton Internet Security 2006, even though that product has been removed. I never am given a chance to enter my NIS 2007 key. Norton software claims that my subscription has already expired - since it is counting days based on my old 2006 key.

This is a legitimately purchased NIS 2007, ebay of course, but legal with a 365 day key.

I just downloaded Azureus, but can't seem to figure it out. I thought it would be like LimeWire, where you can see what files are available for download, but I can't seem to figure this one out.

I've read the HOW TO files, and still can't get port access either.

Any ideas. The Help files aren't helping and they use terms I have not idea what it means. I'm familar with Limewire, and another program, but for some reason this one has me baffled.
