My sister bought a new computer recently and someone set it up for her. Everything works fine but the Outlook Express "spell check" is not operable. I did some investigation and went to "tools" and then "options" in her Outlook Express window and discovered that there was no spelling tab in there! Mine has one.

It just appears that she has no spell check program on her computer. Is that possible?? I thought XP comes with that program. Do you know what might be going on??

Go to Control panel, then Add-remove programs, click on add-remove windows components ( with your Office CD in the Drive). Have only Outlook express checked, and you should have the option to install, remove, or repair. You might have to uninstall it, and then reinstall it.
