Yesterday i have reinstalled windows cause i have some problems with it....
so when again i started windows it went okay!!!!!
Today i don't have sound on my computer...
when i went on audio properties i got a message that i don't have audio device on my computer....
that's not true... i have connected speakers with my computer!!!!
also i don't have the volume controls on my taskbar!!!!
pls help....

windows vista will be released around january if i'm not mistaken but the question that always hanging in my head is it is possible to play computer games which is compatible with windows xp to play using windows vista because i want to buy a new computer but p'm affraid that if i buy a computer with windows vista i wont be able to play computer games such as battlefield, call of duty, need fo speed, starcraft, counter strike and bla..........
so i need someone to tell me if i can play games using w. vista and tell me why if i can/ cant play games using it

I'm recording a conference and making CD's with tracks of all the sessions at the end to hand out to attendees. I want to record the conference on my computer from a soundboard (mixer). What is the easiest software to use for that?
