1)When the specific file you have in mind to protect is on the screen then click on the 'Tools' in the top row near 'Help''Table' etc.. (a single left click please, no right click.)
2)The drop down window will have many words. Only click on 'Options'.
3) The window that opens shows a number of buttons at the top.
Click on 'Security' and then enter the password of your choice and click 'OK'.
Your file is protected and only you can open it. But every time you want to open it you will have to enter that pass word.
Therefore you must always remember it .It is case sensitive so be careful to remember capital and / or small letters that you use.
There is no alternative but to remember and enter the correct password. Otherwise the file is in accessible even to you!

dude, i can suggest a password protected file or a password protected compressed file. you can use winzip or winrar and compress your file then add the "password".
