Yesterday i have reinstalled windows cause i have some problems with it....
so when again i started windows it went okay!!!!!
Today i don't have sound on my computer...
when i went on audio properties i got a message that i don't have audio device on my computer....
that's not true... i have connected speakers with my computer!!!!
also i don't have the volume controls on my taskbar!!!!
pls help....

hi.i have faced the same problem before,do u have a motherboard cd for your computer,if so ,put it in cd drive,and u will find a volume audio file is missing u have to install it,if u cant do it yourself ,any person with basic computer skills can locate the missing file and install it,best of luck.

The audio device they refer to is not an external thing. It is the sound card inside your PC. Click start>settings>control panel>system>hardware>device manager and see if it shows anything that has a res ? or a yellow x on it. It is most likely your sound card and it has the wrong drivers installed. If you find a device like that, double click it, then click reinstall driver and follow the on screen directions to find the drivers. It should solve the problem for you unless the card was bad before you did the reinstall.

OK , first it could be that the drivers were not loaded properly , hece no sound , the volume wont appear on the task bar cause the driver is not loaded . Now since i dont know what make and model is your pc then we need to try and find the driver try. www.driverguide.com or if you want send me the make and model of the pc and ill get you the link for the sound card

have you tryed to restart your computer? my computer dose the same thing and all i do is restart my computer and i have sound
