Macintosh(Apple) beats Windows(Microsoft), due to better security. But Windows has the upper advantage in having wider applications. So, it will be a tie.
Again I will say XP beats Vista, because the later is an ENORMOUS resource hog, no matter how good it looks.
The safest and best site to download software is http://www.download.com/
No idea about game cheats. You could try http://www.thekeys.ws, but it is supposed to be sending virus thingys, never been there. :(

1. Mozilla is best!
2. For now Windows Xp is best but Vista will be best after 1 year
3. You will not easily find the driver of any hardware if you use Apple
4. www.download.com is best and safe dor downloading latest software, but you can also use www.softpedia.com at your own risk.
5. In india www.zapak.com is best for playing online games although you an also play using yahoo messenger.

Firefox, it doesnt crash as much, comes with a download manager, and when it does crash, you can restore what you were on. Apple is better than windows because of it's simplicity, style, and can also run windows applications. (and linux). vista is better than xp because it has better security features, and a cool theme, (ive got it on my xp :D) http://www.isohunt.com is a torrent site to find all software. You just have to open the torrents with bitcomet. download at http://www.bitcomet.com . http://www.cheatcodes.com has some good cheats and a nice layout. http://www.gamespot.com is also good. Windows are always been user friendly.
Vista is the best among all operating system, gud look and powerful security....

Try Firefox, I think this is the best.
Windows is more user friendly, apple is more powerfull.
XP is better for atleast on more year.
