I just found out that I need to updated version of my microsoft and I tried to go start-programs-windows update, but that comes up with the message: The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem. The options are FAQ and Find Solutions. I tried both! Neither are working and I can't figure out how to fix the problem. Please help!

I just re-installed my office 2003 in my XP home laptop. After install, all the folders (inbox, out, sent, etc) showed question marks instead of the right names. Anybody knows how to fix the problem?

I can save music files onto a CD, but if i try saving a jpg or any image file, or video file, or any other file other than a music file it says "There was an error in the writing process. The disc you have attempted to write may no longer be usable", yet I can save music to them, and also, its not just one CD, i tried over 5 different brand new CD's and they all get this message, why? and how can I fix this?

My iPod just simply stops working suddenly. And i found out that when I plugged in my iPod to my comp, all the folders are gone. And I also found out that all the folders attribute are changed into Protected System File Folders, and so my iPod cant read it, and I cant change it back to normal attribute. It is possibly because I plugged my iPod into another comp that is full of viruses. HELP!!!!!

I want to install Windows XP on my other computer using my I386 directory as this: http://ask-leo.com/i_dont_have_an_installation_cd_for_windows_xp_what_if_i_need_one.html says is possible. However I want to try it on a blank hard drive first so that if it doesn't work I can still use the hard drive with the working copy of windows on it.

My plan is this: have two hard drives installed on my computer (HDD1 = win98, HDD2 = blank) network my two computers and transfer the I386 directory to the blank hard drive (HDD2). Then open up my computer, remove the primary hard drive (HDD1), switch the secondary hard drive with the files on it (HDD2) to primary, and then start up. Would this work? Would I use DOS to boot from the directory ("C:/I386/winnt.exe")? If not what else could I do? Because the directory is too large to burn to CD (455mb), do I need to burn only specific files?

I have karaoke dics I'd like to make copies of. I play a lot of shows & I want to make copies of the cds, b/c they get scratched and I think it'd be cheaper to copy them rather than having to buy a new cd for 1 scratched song. I don' t want to sell them and I want it to be legal. I'd also like to burn the songs in a certian order and burn the ones I use the most so I don't have to pack as many cd+g's. I used to use the software alcohol 120%, but since I have a new computer, I'm wondering if there is another brand of software I could use. Thanks
