Every time itry to access MS help I geta message :"Error starting MS Help" .If I use The "office assistant " it directs me to "Windows 32" file.Anyone any useful ideas how to fix this?

Try running a disk check - that'll usually sort it out.
Go to My Computer, right click on the C-disk, select Properties, then Tools, then Check Now.
That might do it.

use office cd to fix by using repair or add/remove office components, choose customs when you install it so you'll know if the help files (for specific application in office family) will also be installed

Hit it with a Hammer the next time it talks back to you....Your in control , you don't need to put up with that garbage
