I also have problems converting rar to avi or mpeg. I've downloaed winrar. works great. especially when I've downloaded a movie and theres at least 70 small little rar files. it will convert them into 1 file for me. NOW when I extract those 70 files into one...it's still a rar file. how do I make it into a avi file ? or a mpeg ?

I am an aspiring animator, but all I have is EASYTOON! arent there any other programs? arent there any FREE programs to create good quality animations? Flash is out of the question, its MANY MANY times out of my budget..... please help?

I can NOT use XP (not fast enough CPU), and I don't like it anyway, so don't tell me to switch.

I know something got deleated, I just have no idea what or where, as it happened right after I used a software's program to uninstall itself.

i have a .bin file, and i thnk i have to burn it to the disc to make it work..i have nero 6.6.1.4 and i kno tha i need Nero Buning Rom.i have the Nero burning Rom, i think bcz when i update the nero it told me that nero burning rom installed but i dunno how can i open the burning rom and burn the .bin file to disk.
can any one please tell me how to do this ?
please explain in detain so i can get it well...

My computer has been acting weird lately i. i go on the desktop and it looks fine then all of a sudden the icons and tool bar disappear and it goes back to normal, as soon as i move my mouse it does it again i need lots of answers. i got lucky cause my aim got on Mozilla firefox

I am looking for some good audio recording software. I don't need anything fancy, maybe 8 track recording capabilities and good editing. This is a gift for my boyfriend, and I only have $30-$75 to spend. I am looking at either Cake Walk v 4.0 or Sony Acid Music Studio 6 Software now. Does anyone have any input about those or do you have any others to recomend.

This morning i bought a Gigatech webcam from IT Warehouse ....ive tried installing it as per the instructions, but it keeps coming up with a problem in the driver application, saying that the system file is not suitable for running MS DOS and microsoft windows applications.....My computer doesnt run on DOS but on XP, and yet the webcam says it is suitable for all computer systems.... my main issue being that the driver refuses to read the installation file.....do you have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?

Can any one help me with it, I can't down load the Firefox 2.0, I already have firefox 1.5.0.8. When I download the 2.0, it said unable to connect. When I downlaod 1.5.0.8 again, it can go anyway, with 2.0 I can't connet to any web site. I really want to down load the 2.0. I try several time but it still say " unable to connect ", do I need to down load something before I install or what do I need. Please Help Thank You.

OK, so he's been to alot of bad websites, and now Windows XP needs to be completely wipped out! I've tried System Restore and it will not work. It works in Safe mode, but he refuses to use this as it has no sounds, and he doesn't want to push F8 each bootup.

The problem is that when you get to the login screen (blue screen), you can click on any account you want, this thing pops up and wants you to click "yes" or "no". Either one you click, it restarts the whole computer. I've ran scans from Xoftspy and mcafee antivirus, but it won't find anything! I've given up!

I can't reinstall Windows XP because windows activation will stop me from doing that! Its only 30 days!

So I'm thinking about giving him Linux! Are there any security flaws with it? Is there a firewall for Linux. I haven't done anything to the computer yet, but I'm thinking about giving him Ubuntu or Slax.

He won't stop looking at it, and no I don't live with him. thanks God, because that computer is loaded w/porn
