click start, then search and the file name.

Very simple. Just right-click on the file and select properties. The second tab in there would be shortcut. In the shortcut tab you would notice that there is a line of information called target. the path listed in there is the path for the file. As easy as that.

If you opne the file then click save as, it will show the complete path, or you can so a search for the file and it will show the path if you expand the column wide enough.

right click the file > properties > location (thats the path name)

If you know any or best of all the entire file's name you can use the finder. Asuming you're useing Windows type Windows+F together. the Windows key is the one between the Ctrl and Alt keys on the left side of the keyboard.
