First - dont download it from a peer-to-peer site like dumb-dumb above suggested. You will get a virus or rootkit. Guaranteed.

Now then, you can go to Microsoft's site and download their 60 day evaluation. Link below.

Second: Go to http://www.openoffice.org and download their openoffice. Its VERY similar to Microsoft office, but FREE. Make sure you set the defaults to save files in microsoft format or anything you send to others wont be able to be opened unless they too have oo.

just use open office it is free legal and it has word, spreadsheet, powerpoint and database. You can download it from openoffice.com

you can purchase it online from microsoft.com. amn open source word processor almost identical to word is at opensource.org it's a free open source word processor from sun microsystems.
