for no reason all my school work was changed into some pdf files
right after i used adobe tonvert a file from the internet into redable text.
is there a program or something that can reverse the problem
free of charge?

That's unlikely. Perhaps you installed an Adobe program, and it set itself as the default program for viewing all your document files?

To fix:
Right-click on one of these documents in Explorer, Open With..., Choose Program....

Check 'Always use...', and select the program you want to open these files with.

Yeah I would bet it was his file associations that got messed up...

Open Windows explorer.. to to Tools>Folder Options>and clickon the file types tab.. scroll down to the file type for your works files and change its association to MS Works.
