There is nowhere that you can download it legally for free. Though I'm sure its on bittorrent. Its much easier to get your hands on a Vista beta, which is legal and includes media center.

There is no place where you can get a free legal copy. You can only get a copy by buying a media center PC.
Pirated copies are as likely as not to be laden with spyware and viruses. Not to mention the fact that the pirated installation codes are locked out by Microsoft and you won't be able to get updates once that happens. (You wil be able to get security patches, but that's it.)

You cannot legally get any current version of Windows for free. You can get and use Win 95, 98, and ME for free, but, of course, there is no support for them.

First of all, I do not know where you could get it for free, and if you did, you would need to get the CID. Second, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU WANT MEDIA CENTER ANYWAY?? All Media Center is Professional castrated.

Only in ISO image format from crack sites. I do NOT recommend this.
By the way, its NOT the software you pay for, its the license. You need the key to activate.

Micro$oft doesn't give that away for free. It can be purchased for ~$100, though.
