Im tryin to convert some video files (.avi) to dvd format. Ive tried using Nerovision but it seems the quality of the end product sucks bigtime. THe only think I like about Nerovision is it is so easy to use and doesnt take too long. Are there any other BETTER programs out there?

My computer was never with word on it; it did have Notepad or something like that. But, now that's not even working...Is there some way I can down load MicroSoft Word (98) for free? I only want to use it, or anything for writing letters and what not. HELP please!!!

I have searched endlessly and can not find the proper driver for this laptop CD/DVD. A link or proper driver to allow this to work would be greatly appreciated. I tried the Toshiba support site and the driver I downloaded Jjust won't work. I need some advise on which is the right one.

My combo drive is TSST: Samsung. I get a crc -- cyclic redundancy check -- error while installing certain games (namely Max Payne2). I tried the device manager option but der aint no settings tab for turnin dma off as in 98 for cd roms. should i try the registry keys? also certain files wont copy and as a result i cant play the game.

I have an MS Access database containing details of all my friends, family, business contacts etc. On the form where I enter new contacts, I have a number of tick boxes which include the contact in certain categories, e.g. Xmas card list, childrens' party invitation list etc. I have created a report to print out mailing labels, sorting entries so that the category that I want is at the top, so, for instance, I can print off all the mailing labels for my Xmas cards, and these will be on the first few sheets of labels, but I still get a mailing label for everyone else in the database. Is it possible to get a report that only shows the contacts I want, rather than simply sorting those that I want to the top?

I dont want to Uninstall WinXP and want to install WinME with it, and want that whenever i start my PC the option appear that which Operating system i want to run.. i installed WinME on WinXP but when i started my PC only WinME was running, How can i run both WIndows Please help me....
