When I try to burn a CD-RW on iTunes, I get a box that says Unknown Error 2123. What is it and how do I fix this?

I have an old compaq 286 with only a floppy drive. I want to use it to connect via a wireless PC Card to my network and then using gotomypc.com or letmein.com.

So If I install a OS like DSL (Damn Small Linux) or Pocket Linux or something else that I can install from a floppy (suggestions on what OS to use would be appreciated) will I be able to run a browser and other apps or will I just have a command line.

In short is thier a OS that I can install from a floppy on a 286 machine that gives me more than a command line interface and has a browser and other usefull graphical apps?

I have a lot of old cartoons and things that I would like to put to a DVD but I have no idea how to convert them. Nero wont do it and I also have power dvd, nero, and dvd shrink... Thanks for the help! I am looking for a low cost... (FREE) if possible solution.

I am sorry to complain about this, especially since I know it’s still in beta, but this was not what I expected. In the copy I have, Beta 2 (build 5384), there is no glass effect, no choice in vista color schemes, and the title bar buttons are still the same shape as in xp. Why is this, how can I get what I saw on the Microsoft web page. But it still functions great, once it boots, and the parts that actually work are great, although many of the programs I have won’t run. Now that I have that out of the way, I am really impressed with the new look and functions of Office and Internet Explorer.

My Windows Xp Disk Cleanup is Taking Hours! And I have still not reached the screen to direct it what to clean up. It's been scanning. Is There a Better Way to Clean up the HD? If software is an idea; I'm on a budget. Preferably I'm looking for good ad-free freeware or very inexpensive software.

After installing a new software, sometimes it asks you to restart Windows XP, and sometimes it doesn't. I want to know 1) whether it is an arbitrary choice of the software installer or that each time it asks you, you really need to (at some point) to complete the installation; and 2) what kind of changes in Windows XP requires a reboot?

A little background on the question: I am having issues with making Microsoft Activesync 4.1 work with my Cingular 8125 phone (like hundreds of other people). The weird thing is that I successfully made it work on my Thinkpad R40 (with Windows XP), though I can't make it work on my Thinkpad X41 Tablet PC (XP Tablet edition). One of the main difference during the installation between the two is that after installing Activesync on the R40, it asked me to reboot before finishing the installation; whether it didn't ask me to reboot on the X41 (even though they both have Windows XP???). Maybe understanding why would help me to solve the issue...
